Dear Parents,
At Harmony School of Innovation-Sugar Land, student success is our priority. The selection of classes for the upcoming school year is a large component of student success for high school and beyond. We know that there are many options for students with regards to course selection. Please set up an appointment with the assigned counselor and take time during the course selection and registration timeframe to select classes carefully.
We would like parents and students to know that during the course selection process, all students will receive a credit check and course selection forms during the course selection meetings. Through the Individual Student Planning (ISP) Meetings, students will see a course selection presentation prepared by the counselors. They will have a chance to ask questions at that time. From this point, students are asked to complete their course selection process during meetings. Throughout February, counselors will meet with every student to continue the guidance process and ensure that students have selected appropriate courses for graduation and for their post-secondary plans.
Course Selection Forms: Must be signed and returned to your counselor during your course selection meetings will be held on February 8th-March 9th.
Thanks in Advance

Dear Juniors/Parents,
Congratulation to the HSI Debate team! They finished their high school season with several wins at Alief Taylor last weekend. Zaina advanced to semi finals of LD debate, Graciela took 3rd in poetry and 6th in impromptu, and Zainab took 5th in oratory!
Mock STAAR exams will take place February 20 – 28 for students in grades 7 – 11. HSI-Sugar Land will be closed to visitors on these days and no lunch drop off as well. Students need to arrive on time to school and are expected to wear their uniforms, in accordance with the school dress code policy. Additionally, students need to bring #2 pencils and erasers. We encourage students to be well rested and to eat a healthy breakfast on testing days.
Also during this timeframe, some AP courses will have mock exams in order to better prepare students for the actual exams in May. Additionally, some dual credit classes have midterms that require more than one class period. These exams have been incorporated into the following testing schedule.
