Our FTC Robotics Team 10354 (Mustangs) received 1st Place out of the 16 competing teams during their first League Meet at Dulles High School. They ended up with an flawless record being the the only team to go 5-0 in the League Meet. The 2nd League Meet is on December 8th at Dulles High School, and we look forward to see our team keep up this undefeated record. Go Mustangs!

 

Testing: December 10-14, 2018

 

District Assessments (DA’s) will be December 10 – 14.  HSI-Sugar Land will be closed to all visitors on these days including lunch drop-offs.  Students need to arrive on time to school and are expected to wear their uniforms, in accordance with the school dress code policy.  Additionally, students need to bring #2 pencils and erasers.  Cell phones, smart watches, and electronic devices are prohibited in the testing rooms.  We encourage students to be well rested and to eat a healthy breakfast on testing days.

DA’S for STAAR EOC tested subjects, English I, English II, Algebra I, Biology, and U.S. History, will include questions from objectives covered during the first semester.  The test duration for these exams ranges from two (2) hours to two and a half (2.5) hours depending on the subject being tested.

DA’s for non STAAR EOC tested subjects will be arranged by the teachers and administered in their regularly scheduled classes.

Some Advanced Placement and Dual Credit classes have finals that require more than one class period.  These exams have been incorporated into the testing schedule.

STAAR EOC retests are the week of December 3rd. All tests will start at 8:00 AM in room 303. Students who are testing need to arrive on time and be prepared to test. If desired, students may bring a quiet snack and a bottle of water.  Cell phones and electronic devices are not allowed in the testing room.

The District Parent and Family Engagement Policy was jointly developed with parents and families at the annual Title I meeting held in October. Below is a link to the adopted policy.
