Dear Students & Parents/Guardians,

A key part of deciding which college to go to is finding a good fit. And a great way to get more information is to visit the colleges in person. Of course, visiting colleges may not be possible for everyone, but it’s a good idea to make the trips if you can. It can help you determine whether a college is the right place for you.

HSI-Sugar Land College & Career Counseling Department are excited to announce that we will be offering college tours for our students. Please see the links below for more detailed trip information by grade levels. They also include registration deadlines. All students MUST register for events in order for them to participate.

Please contact Mr. Ciftci at aciftci@harmonytx.org for more information.

Have a wonderful day!!!

Parents of the Class of 2019!

Welcome back from Spring Break, the school year’s almost done! This is Alper Ciftci, adviser of Senior Committee. I am sending this email regarding updates for you all on the forthcoming events of HSI-Sugar Land`s Class of 2019.
To start off, I would like to provide you all with updates regarding payments for Senior Dues. The final installment, as your students have been informed, is due Friday, March 22nd, 2019. Please remember that all students must turn their receipts in with the Senior Dues Payment Plan Slip, which is attached to this email in the files below. In addition to this, the final day to pay for Senior Week is next week Friday, March 29th, 2019. The last day to purchase a prom ticket is Thursday, April 18th, 2019. These dates are non-negotiable. If you or your student have concerns regarding payments, please don’t hesitate to contact me. All concerns must be voiced through email.
As we are quickly approaching the end of the Class of 2019’s high school journey, graduation is quickly approaching! We have received our shipment of caps and gowns, and we will distribute them to the students according to advisory classes on the days of April 15th-17th. Once received, it is entirely up to the student to keep track of their cap and gown. We will not be responsible for the loss of any caps and gowns after students have signed off on receiving them. In regards to any cords that your student may have earned (academic distinctions, club honors, etc.), all cords and bibs for clubs will be distributed by club advisors in mid-to-late May. In the spirit of graduation, we will notify you all about the passing out of tickets in the upcoming weeks. Due to rules from Jones Hall, we aren’t able to pass out tickets that we have created and printed ourselves — all tickets must be provided by Jones Hall. If you are aware of a family member that will need to have access to handicapped seating, please send me an email as soon as possible so that I can work with you to ensure that they will have access to said seating.
As for the remainder of miscellaneous updates, we would like to remind you all that the College Decision Pep Rally hosted by Harmony Public Schools will be on Thursday, April 18th. Senior jackets have been purchased, and we are expecting the shipment to arrive shortly. After they arrive, they will be passed out according to advisory classes, on a date that will be released to the students through the Remind app. The 2018-19 Yearbook is being finalized in the next few weeks, so students will be updated with the date they should expect to receive them.
As a final reminder, if you have any questions or concerns regarding anything at all, please don’t hesitate to email me at aciftci@harmonytx.org. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to working with the Class of 2019 for the rest of the school year!

We want your Feedback. We invite you to take our website survey to find out if our new website is meeting your needs.

You asked! We changed!

You’re invited to take our website survey to find out if the new website is meeting your needs.

During the last few months, we’ve been working to revamp our campus websites based on the feedback we received from focus groups, and online user surveys. Your feedback was critical because it helped us understand why people visit our websites and what they are trying to achieve once they get there.

It’s easy to take part in the survey and should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete!

We take your feedback very seriously, and want to provide parents with a valuable resource. If one of your favorite features from the old site is missing: let us know… (Gently – remember the Golden Rule!)

Click on this link to take the survey immediately.
