Thank you for continually choosing Harmony Public Schools. Due to limited space for the upcoming year, we ask each parent/guardian to fill out this re-enrollment form completely. This re-enrollment form is designed for currently enrolled students. The closing date for this form is Friday, January 24th, 2020. Re-enrollment forms received unsigned, incomplete, or after the closing date may not be considered for next
year. Please submit proof of residency with this form. Proof of Residency can be a utility bill, lease agreement, tax form, etc. P.O. Box addresses cannot be accepted.

This is a friendly reminder that there is no school on Friday, January 17th for the students. There will be District PD for the staff.

The following powerpoint presentations were shared with our parents in the parent/guardian college & career info nights. If you were unable to attend the meeting, please read over the presentation and contact your counselor with any questions.
The HSI-Sugar Land counseling team will be meeting with all high school students Spring semester to begin the process of transitioning from one grade level to another. It is important to know that this is a very fluid process. We want our students to begin planning and preparing for their futures. This is a multi-step process that will take place over the course of the year.
Students will have the opportunity to develop their future plans and courses for the 9th-grade year with the assistance of the counselors on January 27th, 2020 – March 6th, 2020.

In accordance with the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students, Harmony Public Schools will begin taking referrals for all interested students in grades K-12 for Gifted and Talented (G/T) screening.
Anyone interested in the educational welfare of these students may nominate them for assessment. Students in grades 2 & up who were tested in Fall 2019 are not eligible to test in Spring 2020. Referral forms are available at the front office and on the school’s website.

The referral forms must be returned to the front office by Friday, February 7, 2020. The Spring GT testing window is set by the campus in February or March. Campuses may elect to use NWEA MAP scores as a prescreening criterion for GT Testing.
For more information about the screening and identification process, parents may contact the school’s GT Coach/teacher.
De acuerdo con el Plan Estatal de Texas para la Educación de Estudiantes Dotados / Talentosos, Harmony Public Schools comenzará a tomar referencias para todos los estudiantes interesados en los grados K-12 para la evaluación de estudiantes dotados y talentosos.
Cualquier persona interesada en el bienestar educativo de estos estudiantes puede nominarlos para dicha evaluación.
