We would like to congratulate our students and teachers for their success.  We have so much to celebrate.

We’ve competed in 25 categories in the TSA Regional competition, and we’ve qualified for state competition from 18 of them with TSA.

In the HOSA Regional Competition, we qualified for the state competition with a total of 9 students in 3 separate categories with HOSA.

One of our students is a finalist and one of them is the semifinalist at the National Merit Scholarship.

In addition, our three students have won College Board Opportunity Scholarships. Also, one of our students won the two different categories in the Houston Science and Engineering Fair (SEFH).

We’d like to congratulate our school’s athletic teams for their success. Both our basketball and soccer teams finished their league slugs with considerable effort. We thank the players and our coaches for all their effort.

You can find the competition categories and the list of students who are successful in the competitions at the link below.

Parent/Teacher conferences are a great time for parents to meet with teachers to discuss their student’s academic and social progress at school. It is also an excellent time for families to discuss plans of action for getting caught up, getting ahead, or taking advantage of other opportunities available to students to further their success in school and life. All HSI-SL parents welcome to attend conferences! Students may also come to conferences if parents prefer to have them there as well.

Come take this opportunity to get updates on your child’s progress!

* Early dismissal will be at 12:10 PM.
* Parent-Teacher Conferences will be from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
* Please pick-up your student on time so that parent-teacher conferences can begin on time.
* There will be no after-school clubs or tutorials.

Should you be unable to find time to meet with a teacher, please call or email the teacher to arrange for an individual conference.

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact us at any time.

Invitation Letter

Dear Parents,

Please take a few minutes to complete the Migrant Family Survey in Skyward. It is located on each student’s portal. TEA requires that families take this survey on an annual basis.

Skyward

The deadline for application for open enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year at Harmony Public Schools is almost here. If you are a current Harmony family that would like to change campuses next year, or would like to apply to become a first-time Harmony student in 2020-2021 here’s s everything you need to know about how to apply for next year.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Every child isn’t the same. So why should every school be?

Harmony Public Schools believes each student can achieve their own unique, full potential through a caring and collaborative academic environment that emphasizes personalized learning and innovative instructional methods.

WHAT MAKES HARMONY DIFFERENT

Engaging Education: Our project-based learning engages critical thinking skills and makes learning fun with hands-on activities that educate and excite.

Skills for Tomorrow: Our curriculum has been recognized by the TEA & others for providing students the STEM skills they need for the in-demand jobs of the future.

College Ready: Harmony has a 100% college acceptance rate, and almost two-thirds of our students are the first in their families ever to attend college.

COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does Harmony Public Schools charge tuition to attend?

Absolutely not. Harmony is a tuition-free, Texas public charter school. We believe every student deserves the opportunity to attend a high-quality public school that fits their individual needs regardless of income.

Who is eligible to attend Harmony Public Schools?

All children residing in a Harmony school’s geographic boundary who meet registration requirements are eligible to attend. Unlike most other schools, though, Harmony’s geographic boundaries are much wider and generally include the entire community in which the school resides, meaning that all students in the area – regardless of neighborhood or family income level – have the same opportunity to attend a high-quality Harmony school.

What documents do I need to apply?

No documents are needed just to apply. However, if your child is selected for enrollment during the lottery process, you will need to provide a few basic documents that verify your child’s identity and home address.

I have a child in Harmony already, and would like to enroll their sibling for the first time. Do I still need to apply?

Yes. Siblings of current Harmony students still need to apply, but are given priority status if a campus lottery is needed.
