Dear HSI Sugar Land Parents and Community,

Greetings! 

As principal of Harmony School of Innovation-Sugar Land, I am very delighted to welcome you to a new academic year. We look forward to receiving your children soon.

Today, I want to provide our families with an important update regarding the date at which we will begin our school year, a change in our student orientation setting, and some of the reasons we expect this to be a great first year in our new home.

First, we would like to inform our student families that the first day of school will need to be moved back to August 29th, 2022. We understand this might cause an inconvenience for some families, and for that, we apologize. However, global supply chain issues that have affected construction projects across the world have caused unavoidable delays in the building of our new campus, and we refuse to sacrifice the safety and long-term success of our school to rush this process.

We will provide another update regarding the construction status no later than Aug. 15.

Our student orientation will be held at our current campus, 13522 West Airport Blvd from 9 AM-3 PM on August 10th, 2022.

We ask that families please review some important materials at this link before orientation day.

Despite the temporary delay in our new school’s opening, the team at HSI-Sugar Land is excited about the year ahead.

I am personally looking forward to my third year as the Principal of Harmony School of Innovation-Sugar Land. Our team has a passion for maximizing the academic achievement of every child and we will strive to successfully guide our campus’ academic and social goals for the years to come. It is my honor to work with such an amazing group of students and staff!  I am also confident that this will be another great year as we continue to foster a culture of learning.    

Your involvement as a parent is an essential part of your child’s high school experience and contributes to the overall school culture of HSI-Sugar Land. In this spirit, the staff and I look forward to working with you and your child throughout the year. Collaboration among students, teachers, and parents is key to the true success of a school community. Throughout the year, we will keep students and parents informed through our school website and social media accounts. We hope that you will find our website helpful and informative. Our weekly newsletters (Weekly Mails) will be emailed to parents starting the first week of school.  We also will enter dates for all events and activities into the “Calendar” feature of our website starting on Aug. 16. Additionally, we have a Facebook account (Facebook.com/HSI-SL) that we will use to send out updates and quick announcements as we go through the school year.

Frequently Asked Questions

The size and color I want are still out of stock – what can I do?
Our partners at French Toast are working hard to get more colors and sizes in stock as soon as possible. To get an automatic update when your uniform preference is ready to purchase, just enter your email in the ‘Notify Me’ box under the product ‘Out of Stock’ message.

Can my child still wear uniforms that were purchased previously?
Of course! If your child’s uniform is still in good condition, they are welcome to continue wearing uniforms from previous years, even if the campus has updated to a new uniform color scheme.

The free shipping code isn’t working – what’s up?
The free shipping code – HPSPOLO – is for orders of two items are more, so just make sure you have enough items to qualify for free shipping in your cart. If you’re still experiencing issues, please contact Customer Service at https://www.frenchtoast.com/contact-us.

Which uniform color do I need for my child?
When ordering new uniforms and polos, the following are the approved color schemes for each grade level:

The uniform color options don’t look like the ones I see above
– is something wrong?
There might be a minor color variation between the preview image on the French Toast website and the images above, but not by much. If the uniform you’re selecting doesn’t look right, just make sure you have the correct dress code selected from the drop down near the top of your screen.

Why can’t I just order uniforms directly at my campus anymore?
Unfortunately, year-round direct sales of school uniforms can be a complicated and time-consuming process for an individual campus. We’d rather put our team’s talents to use by serving our students. By partnering with an industry-leading school uniform supply company like French Toast, Harmony is able to keep uniform costs down for families while freeing up school staff (and storage space!) to focus on the other needs of our schools.
