Dear Senior Students and Parents/Guardians of the Class of 2023!

Graduation Ceremony Date: Friday, May 26, 2023.
Time: 6:30 – 8:30 pm (Doors open at 5:30 pm for guests)
Venue: Morris Cultural Arts Center at Houston Christian University
Address: 7502 Fondren Road, Houston, TX 77074

This is Senior Committee Board, and we are proud to announce that our Class of 2023 graduation will commence on Friday, May 26, 2023. The event will be hosted at Houston Christian University and will take place between 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM. Parents are encouraged to get to the venue earlier than 5:30 PM, to avoid the traffic.

Furthermore, we would like to introduce you to our concept for tickets. To confirm the number of guests coming from your family, we would like to fill out the RSVP form attached below. Parents must fill out this form so we can provide you with the accurate number of tickets. We are giving every student 6 complimentary tickets.

If you are aware that you will need handicapped seating, please indicate this on the Graduation ticket Request Form. Parents must have completed this Form by Monday, April 24, 2023 at 11:59PM. Priority will be given to students in the order that they respond to the request Form.——

Testing Informational Letter

STAAR End of Course testing will begin in April. Additionally, Juniors will take the SAT on April 12 and AP exams are May 1-12. Please see the attached letter for more information about upcoming testing.

Virtual Nepris Career Day – March 10th

We will be having our Virtual Nepris Career Day Friday, March 10th at 8:00 -11:00 am in the cafeteria for 9th-10th grade students.
 
Attached is the flyer for this event. Nepris connects educators and students with a network of industry professionals, virtually, bringing real-world relevance and career exposure from the different fields.
 
For each session, (8:00-9:00 am, 9:00-10:00 am) there will be different virtual live career presentations that you will choose from to participate in depending on which careers interest you.
 
Before this event, please make sure you
Activate the account that has been created for you,
Register for the event by choosing the 3 virtual career presentations that you would like to participate in,
Report to the cafeteria after attendance taken,
Have your chromebook, and
Start attending the session logging in your account

Transportation YOU Program – Deadline March 10th

Houston chapter has a dedicated STEM outreach program called Transportation YOU. It was developed to grow the interest of young women in STEM and through this initiative. They are looking for student mentees (10th, 11th or 12th graders) that may be interested in applying to attend a Summit.
